Santo Amaro

BreakfastExcursion to the village of Betânia in an open‑air 4x4 truckIn a 4x4 open truck, we will explore one of the most preserved areas of the Lençóis Maranhenses. The tour begins at 9:00 AM, departing from the pousada toward the National Park. Along the route we will pause for swims in crystal-clear lagoons and, for those who wish, a short walk across the dunes. We continue to the village of Betânia, where there is a stop for lunch (not included). In the afternoon we visit the Alegre River—perfect for a relaxing warm-water bath and beautiful photographs. The day ends with a breathtaking sunset from the highest point in the region — a truly spectacular vista.Overnight: Santo Amaro

Santo Amaro/Barreirinhas

BreakfastDeparture from Santo Amaro to Barreirinhas in an air-conditioned vehicleLençóis Maranhenses National Park tour with visits to the seasonal lagoonsThe tour begins with transfer from the pousada to the pier, where we cross the Preguiças River by ferry. From there we follow trails—sandbanks or fields—where the vehicle may be bumpy. Upon reaching the Great Lençóis Maranhenses, the open‑air 4x4 truck stops and our adventure begins with the challenge of climbing a very steep dune approximately 80 m in length or ascending a staircase of about 144 steps. After this initial effort, the required physical exertion diminishes considerably. At the top we are rewarded with a panoramic view of the Lençóis Maranhenses — simply stunning. You will be able to walk among the lagoons and refresh in their crystalline waters, and the first dune offers an incredible vantage for sunset — a true spectacle of nature. Afterwards we return to Barreirinhas.Overnight: Barreirinhas
